Tim Johnson

Tim is the Founder and Managing Director of American UK Tax Solutions.  With an in depth understanding of both the US and UK tax systems he is ideally positioned to advise American individuals and businesses coming to the UK and British nationals and businesses with US interests.

Tim qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers and has held financial positions at British Telecommunications, United Technologies and Orange. In 2001 he joined Lesters a specialist Financial Services business as Finance and Operations Director, becoming Managing Director in 2003.  In 2006 he founded IntelliCap Solutions - a management consultancy.

Tim also holds an MA in Mathematics from Oxford University and an MBA in International Finance  from HEC Paris. He is also an International Associate of the American Institute of CPAs  (AICPA) and is enrolled to practice before the Internal Revenue Service. 


Outside of work Tim is currently training to run a half marathon and enjoys improving his public speaking at the Berkely Square Speakers.  Other interests include politics, economics, history and psychology. He is married to an American and has one daughter.
